Does it have automatic threading?

Yes there is a pull for threading. However I’d like to say a needle threader instead of auto-threading because anyway you need your eyes and fingers.

I sew and sell lingerie, Will this machine be good for very thin and delicate fabric?

This machine has great presser feet and feed dogs, so I think it will work very well with delicate fabrics. There is a foot available which advances the fabric from the top and bottom at the same rate, and the mat might be worth a try if you bump into something tricky.

Is this a low or high shank machine?

This is a low shank sewing machine. Thanks, Alan

Can it handle thick fabrics for buttonholes ?

Yes this machine can handle thick fabric for buttonholes

Does the does tie off function work when using walking foot

Yes, if your talking about cutting thread

How much does it weigh and what are the dimensions?

it is approximately 20lbs and 19.5x16x11

can you use the BSR with this machine?

Unfortunately the BSR will not work with this machine

Will do sideways/ later stitching?

Not sure what you mean. Maybe check with the manufacturer.

I have a Bernina 910.....older model. Will the feet from this machine fit on the new ((B38)??

Your older machine uses the same feet that my Bernina 1630 does. I own the B38, but the feet from the 1630 do not fit the B38, so I suspect that the 910’s feet would not fit the B38.

What is the clearance between the deck and the foot when raised?

Thank you for your interest in the bernette 38. The height between the foot and bed of machine is 1/4" when foot is raised.
