Are these in metric or standard measurements?

On the back sides of the tape makers they are printed with the metric size (25, 18, 12, 6), but the directions sheet also gives the standard size (1", 3/4", 1/2", 1/4"). Hope this helps.

Can the pressure foot be using with Praff sewing machine?

hello, yes, it is generic, fit most low shank sewing machinethanks

Are there instructions available?

yes, but learn from you tube is better than instruction.

Where is this currently manufactured? is it still taiwan? aka not onechina...

as far as I know.

If this kit fit to the janome 1500?

This does not fit the sewing machines it is a product you use an iron with. You make the bias tape by hand. You insert the fabric through the die’s pull the fabric through and iron to crease the fabric into bias tape

Will this fit a Husqvarna ?

hello, i think it is not for Husqvarna thanks

what width fabric is used for each? I just can't seem to get that part right.

Cut the fabric about twice the width of the finished bias tape. For instance, for 1/4” bias tape, cut a strip of fabric at a 45 degree angle about 1/2” wide.

I have an older singer model 500a. it was from the mid 60's. i can not see how this would work with this machine. am i missing something?

Yes. This Fabric Bias Tape Maker is used AWAY from the sewing machine and is intended to help fold your material into a suitable shape for use as a binding. Only after you have used these devices to fold and iron the fabric, and created your binding, do you then take your newly created binding to your sewing machine, while placing these tape maker devices into a storage drawer somewhere. In short, they are not intended to be a machine attached accessory. Do a You Tube search for plenty of examples.

Will this fit high shank machine?

Meaning does it fit a machine that uses a screw to attach presser foot. No. It seems to be a snap on. I have the screw kind and could not get to attach. I may have been doing something wrong but my experience.

Will this fit the simplicity bias tape maker?

No. They are for two distinctly different methods of making bias tape. One is automatic and one is by hand.
