How do you use this type of needle threader???

There is no needle threader in my set. There is, however, what we usuallly know as a bodkin. The opening in the wider end of the Tool is to use when you want to thread ribbon, elastic and such through a rod pocket in the garment. Because the bodkin is rigid and the ribbon is not, the bodkin carries the ribbon through the narrow passage. You have to attach the ribbon, etc. to the “threading needle” as they call it. Hope this helps. Any good sewing book can probably explain it better than I.

Where is it made?

There’s no indication but they look European (although they aren’t old they look old) I enjoy them very much. Sorry I can’t answer your question.

Is this set actually vintage or reproduction? Where are they made?

It’s a reproduction, but they are nice. Not sure where they are made. Does not say on the package. When I first got it, I think it said India. They are beautiful.
