This clover < > 6-in-1 Stick 'n Stich Guide is your ideal seam guide for perfect sewing. The guides adhere to the surface of your sewing machine with a repositionable, reusable adhesive that is permanently attached to the guide surface. If the jell gets dirty or full of fluff, just rinse it with tap water and you're good to go again and again. The kit includes a clear plastic grid gauge to aid in positioning the guide that doubles as a holder when the guides are not in use.
Does this product have sticking backing where you wash off to get it to stick again?
I have just started using this wonderful tool and all I can say is that I wish I had this years ago! I will always have one and yes, the backing is easily rejuvenated with washing as threads and such stick. I washed it with a little hand soap I was lathered with, rinse and voila, one of the best products I have ever used!
Will this work on small machines?
Sure. It's adhesive, so you position it to the right of the needle at the distance away from the needle that you want your seam allowance to be. I use mine on my old Singer Featherweight 221 and it's a very small machine.
I bought this item in December and don't much care for it - difficult to pry up - a little tab would be helpful. Where is the measurement device?
Hello,This should have come with your item in the package. Set includes a clear plastic grid measure to assist.
Did i actually hear the woman in the tutorial video refer to the presser foot as "pressure foot"??!! what???? have i been using the wrong terminology
No. You are using the correct term.
Will this work for putting an even hem in pants? I am shrinking with age and need a 27"-28" inseam now but can never find pants less than 30" inseam
This product is wonderful and provides a guide for your fabric as you pass it under the sewing machine needle. You make the decision as to how far from the needle you place the guides, and then line up the edge of the fabric with the guides as you sew. The distance between the stitching and the fabric edge is called the seam allowance. The guides work best on a flat surface, so depending on the layout of your machine you may only be able to use 1 guide.
These guides are not a “hemming tool” that will turn your fabric or make a blind hem. But these will help make your hems even all the way around. These will stick for as long as you want and be used more than once but do lose their stickiness. I use this product all the time, and love it.
Will this work with a 9 mm (feed dog) machine (Bernina 770)?
I’m not sure why not. It adheres to the sewing machine itself, so if there is a flat space to stick it down, it should stick. Be SURE to read the instructions and save the clear backing.
Does it work on Brother SE400?
They have magnets built in and the magnets don’t work on the hard plastic. I was very disappointed. I would not recommend them.
