swiss made tweezers with "AC" and "Swiss" stamped into metal?

No such stamp.

How can these be 6 inches but the product dimensions only 4.8 inches?

I measured mine and it was 6 inches top to tip so I don't know what the 4.8 inch product dimension refers to.

where is it made?

It was delivered wrapped in plastic. No box and no stamp to indicate origins.

will these rust if they get wet?

Hi, I haven't gotten these tweezers wet so I don't know. I wouldn't think so since they are made of polished metal. Sorry

Does this tweezer have a serrated edge?.

I bought these tweezers for sewing/embroidery. Yes, the have serrations on the inside of both prongs to help with gripping objects, but they are not what I am looking for. Why? Because the points are blunt (not sharp enough for picking up a single thread). The blunt ends don't touch each other when fully pinched, at least not on the outside edge. Even if I was working on larger projects where I didn't need a fine point, these tweezers seemed as if they would snag or disrupt projects because the ends were not smooth. I hope this helps you make your decision!

Do they lock when using them?

No, they don't lock.

What material is this Tweezer made out of & how long are they?

6" long including the curve and they are a sturdy metal , Used for threading a serger or anytime tweezers are handy

Are these light in weight like plastic, or are they a bit hefty?

They are fairly hefty, not light like plastic at all. Having said that, they are well balanced, and work very well when threading needles and removing small items from tight places.

How far apart are the two ends when left open? TY.

1/2" wide when open

Cont.. are these stiff? If so they will not work for me.

Not sure what you consider 'stiff'. They take about the same force to close as other tweezers out there. To get you a real number, a gauge of some sort would be required, but you'd have to already have a number to rate them against.
