How much fabric does a size 20 shirt need?

Look at the pattern, scroll over the photo of the back of the pattern and see for yourself. 2-1/8 to 2-1/2 depending upon the pattern view, then 1-1/8 for contrasting fabric if that's the view you want. Most patterns on Amazon have a view of the pattern envelope back, and that's where your yardage requirement is.

does it include measurements for petites?

No specific measurement for petites but there are notes of where to shorten for the waist. I'm a petite size as well and I haven't had a problem with the pattern's final measurements post shortening.

Why don't you show how much material is needed for each design?

The package does show all the material requirements on the back of the sleeve, with a column for each size. If you look at the different thumbnails on the purchase page, you can zoom in on the lower right one which shows the back of the sleeve with the necessary information, I just checked it online. All sewing patterns have this information on the back. This one includes metric measurements as well.

If I wear a woman’s small to medium with this pattern work for me? Thanks!

This is a multi-size pattern ranging from a size 10 - 22. If you take your measurements and compare with the bust, waist and hip measurements shown on the pattern you should be able to tell if it will fit. I usually trace the pattern on a piece of parchment or other traceable paper and then baste a muslin if I am not sure of the fit. That way you still have the original pattern and don't ruin the fabric you want to use if you need to take adjustments.
